To just forget everyone and all those things that have been worrying you. But I felt the opposite at my sojourn to a beach in the southernmost tip of India. I thought I would find solace, relief and a sense of just being away from everything for a while.

My experiment at staying alone/detached for 3 days turned out to be not quite what i had expected. I did live like a king, I wouldn't deny that. Staying at a place right at the beach, getting up at 11, bathing at the beach, sitting at shacks for hours having fish and just wondering who made the sea so beautiful, walking in the sand and looking back to see your footprints being owned by the sea, reading and wondering about the characters in that book like they were alive at that very moment and watching the day go by from that lighthouse that overlooks the ocean and the wilderness.

But there was something that always remained the same, the ME inside of me. I always told myself "hey, this is supposed to be a vacation so stop thinking" but no ! I thought even more, at times i equated my life with the book i was reading. All the emotions that I had felt at some or the other time of the year just came back to me with a greater intensity. I thought more about the people in my life, about priorities, about what an asshole I can be and how I should continue to be one. WHY life has been what it has been so far and how NOTHING is going to change very soon.I thought of my self as an animal, as a glutton whose only motive in life was to live better and felt that being at this place is gonna change nothing. I will just be the same when I go back to the "real" world. But then there was this one thought that turned around everything. " Atleast I was thinking!!!"

We just walk through our everyday lives without smelling the roses but more than that I think its more important to feel the thorns once in a while ! Think about what you did to someone, about why you are such a terrible person, about that loser that stays inside you and comes out when you least expect him to, about that person who bullied you when you were a kid.Sometimes just sometimes its good to sit back with some beer and think about all those bad memories, stuff you are not really proud of. It's only then that you will accept completely what you really are and that acceptability and not the being itself shapes what you truly can be.

Somewhere in time and space:Europe

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_f2HSBq_bPRE/TScLuhW1-JI/AAAAAAAAAEw/dxPd7R6-F8o/s320/trance.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5559425158868236434" />
Europeans in general have a strange craving for silence. The metros, the hotels, the universities, the roads all of them say the same thing in different ways. There is no interference with the personal soul, everything is objective, looks at you from a distance and wants you to think.Think about the food, about the women, about the silence, about the masterpieces on every nook and corner of the street. Then you become a cripple, a slave of your thoughts which embrace the questions this objectivity asks them. You dont realize where you are going, there is noone to ask about you, noone who cares about your whereabouts. People are engrossed in thought, the mornings are silent, and the evenings are beautiful. people dance, love , eat, drink but I wonder if this is gods attempt to create an equilibrium in life in general here. Its like India, the mindnumbing activity during the day is followed by quiet nights, for the average indian that is.

Every women has a scent here, an inescapable odour, its like a second identity, its like an addiction, just doesnt let go of you. in a club u r suddenly in an ocean of sounds and odours, with the music acting as a catalyst. You look into the eyes of that beautiful stranger and have a conversation that you'll forget in a day but something you wont forget is that moment in time and space, that dot in the world where you were happy , where you could be whatever u wanted to be.

Random conversations about politics, media, movies, love, weather , music, business and what not run wild. You open your mind every night and let yourself be. you dont cling on to ideas , u neither accept them nor reject them because it doesnt matter, because nothing is true and nothing is false, you just fly . fly in the deep corners of your mind and speak whatever you want to and also, whatever you dont want to. the alcohol makes you wild, the music makes you calm and after sometime you close your eyes to talk to yourself, everything is spinning ,your thoughts collide with each other and suddenly you dont know what to do with them, you dont kno how to keep them still, your mind is at war with itself and the only way you can bring peace is by letting it fight in solitude.

and then you go home...

The "B SCHOOL" experience

On my first day in business school, I met GOD !! he was standing on the stage, behind the podium, giving us a "WELCOME" speech. He began by saying "welcome batch, you guys are good" and before i could even begin stoking my ego, he went berserk with the rules! Rule 1-blah blah blah ,Rule 2-blah blah blah blah followed by If you dare to blah blah i will blah blah blah. I asked myself 'seriously how old is this guy? and why the f&*^ is he scolding us!! Although i'm not a very good public speaker(not even half of what this guy was) i could earn 10 times more respect than he could when on stage. Being a little polite would do, and i'll be a star if i could crack a joke or two! seriously, how difficult is it to be nice to people? to understand what they want to hear? oh wait, i heard this guy was majoring in marketing !! god bless this country.

On the second day, i met GOD 2 !! He was out there on the stage giving us a presentation on the basics of marketing. He was alright, but wait, after 5 minutes he too like GOD starts shouting at us !! "You ignorant fools you don't know this", " seriously who sent you guys to a business school, this is just a waste of time" and then suddenly the trick worked. A bunch of juveniles decided to rescue the session and started asking questions which almost made me puke!!! The whole setting turned into a parliament session in the next 5 minutes. First years asking questions to become popular, seniors retorting back to save their egos. I was just a quite soul who preffered thinking about the universe than petty toilet soap ad campaigns. With my hands behind my neck and my seat in full recline i was gonna make a breakthrough in understanding the evolution of the being when GOD 2 interrupted my chain of thought. He was shouting at the top of his voice, he was shouting at me with all his energy. Then at that very moment i made a decision.I am never gonna buy a single product of the company he goes on to work for. They just lost a customer before they even hired him!!

On days 3,4,5,6,7,8,9...16 i met GOD 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,....16. Each one of them was pissed off for some reason or the other. They had insane fetishes. They loved formals. They wanted each and every first year to wear formals day and night, and by night i mean 2 am. They wont let them eat if they are not wearing formals, wont let them study if they are not in formals, wont let them attend "interactions" if not in formals( oh wait, thats what we want don't we !!) Dedicated, sincere EMPLOYEES who follow deadlines and submit themselves towards authority and hierarchy is what they wanted them to become. Uniformity is what they aspired to bring, individuality is what they forgot altogether. They stressed on interaction but forgot that they had to stop being angry for that to happen !!

You'll expect me to end it on a healthy positive note to appease certain people but that's not going to happen . I'm not pissed, i'm just bored.Where's the fun? Where's the excitement? Where's the passion? Where is THE LOVE?

Disclaimer: The above article is purely fictitious not resembling any person or place.
;) ;)

Too cool for school !

Another month and i'm gonna be back in college. It's been ages since i left manipal.

1.5 years to be exact, and i feel that its time to get in touch with the "student" in me. For starters, the Goatee is back !! it's symbolic for me more than anything else. It Remind's me of the times when i didn't give a rats ass about anything, the times when i used to walk in the classes without realizing what date, time or year it was, the times when i used to look into the mirror and say "i'm getting sexier day by day" and my room mate used to laugh his ass off.and what's more, my insane laugh is back!! the one i tried to hold back in office, the one that always got me in trouble in college, the one people could hear from miles away and say "i know who that is!". My ability to consume alcohol is improving thanks to my recent bangalore trip, and i really hope it will meet the required standards when i get started with college. The last year had left me longing for liquor(lack of company not liquor!) , i could get high on lime soda for all i knew. The old music is back, folders in my old computer named after my friends with nothing short of treasure in them, the songs we could levitate on. For some reason or the other college always wakes up the freak within,or maybe its the real me. Looking forward to two more years of pure and absolute bakar.

The cynical product

My grand father happens to be a researcher. As a person he's your typical science guy. Cynical, witty, absent minded at times and you'll always catch him talking to himself. At his bed side, you'll find spare transformer parts, batteries, wires and yeah a motor at times! didn't have much of an education. One of those lucky guys who always knew what they wanted to do. A natural with circuits and anything to do with electronics.

Last summer he designed an electronic stethoscope and gave me a prototype. It was special for me.The sound intensity was three times that of a normal stethoscope, Could be connected to headphones, earphones or even speakers for a whole class of medical students to listen and learn. It made great market sense too. The cost we agreed on was 70% less than that of american electronic stethoscopes which were being sold in India. He asked me to try and market it. Apart from writing that was the first thing ever that got me really excited.I jumped on it. Met doctors, medical students,Interns, made a few visits to purchase departments. But things didn't really work out.

I ask myself time and again if i gave it my best shot. The answer is a dismal no. apart from that there were a few other problems with the product. According to doctors it failed to measure some crucial heart beats .It was better for use as a respiratory stethoscope rather than a cardio device and It had to be charged every now and then which really was a pain. The biggest problem of them all, The small company where my grandfather worked as a researcher didn't have enough capital to manufacture the product even if we did manage to get an order!

I left it then and there. The stethoscope is locked in my grand fathers cupboard but it crosses my mind time and again. Can i still sell it? I occasionally ask him this question and he always gives me the same cynical reply " rehne de,yahan sab bekaar hain,is desh ka kuch nahi ho sakta" But i'm an optimist. always will be.

The customer’s Business!

On a merciless summer day in Delhi I rushed to catch a metro train to my place. With The sun beating down on me, I was sweating profusely. I entered the metro station and without a thought approached the nearest beverage shop. I asked him to give me something ice cold. Whatever was available, I didn’t care about the brand. Coke,Pepsi or cold water anything would do. He opened his freezer, took out a can of sprite and placed it on the counter. No questions asked, I grabbed it, paid him 20 bucks and ran to catch my train. While the train approached the station I opened the can and took a sip. Then at that very moment I remembered what Peter Drucker said about business.

“What is our business?” is the first question an organization needs to ask itself and it needs to ask it every day, every quarter and every year. Not answering it appropriately is the single most common cause of business failure. On a hot summer day Sprite is in the business of relieving thirst and on a cold winter night it’s a support business for the liquor industry. The answer to this question changes with climate, country, consumption trends, Age of the target customer and most importantly the thought process of the management.

The second most important question an organization needs to ask is “Who/what are we competing against?” . In my case Sprite was in competition with soft drink companies, juice companies as well as mineral water!! The competition you face depends on the whims and fancies of your customer. He/she wants cold mineral water instead of a soft drink, It’s your problem! He prefers an ice cream over your drink, Your problem again!! Reassessing your Marketing strategy in accordance with the changing competition is something that can’t be ignored and the competition might not be in the same business as you.

The final question “Who is our customer and what can we do to reach him?” On a hot summer day, in a metro station it was me. I didn’t know what to purchase. I was just running for my train. I wasn’t aware of their distribution network or style. I wanted something cold, inexpensive, not bad in taste, readily available and easy to carry. A Rs 20 can of cold sprite was right on the money. It might have been someone else on a rainy day in a completely different place and they’ll need to reach him in a completely different way. Restructuring distribution and promotion strategy with the changing business is mandatory.

So the next time you find yourself sipping a cold beverage drink try to answer these questions and compare the answers with those in my situation. You’ll find that you are dealing with a completely different business.

The Modern Dandi March

Wrote this one on Gandhi Jayanti.

I’ve started working for an Indian IT major. And there are certain things I couldn’t help but notice. My training group comprises of 36 individuals coming from not less then 15 states in the country. You name it and we have it (Punjab, haryana, tamil Nadu, kerela, ,Gujarat, Karnataka, uttar Pradesh , assam, rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, delhi, maharashtra) Its like attending a class with your country. All of them have different accents, different mother tongues, different tastes in food, different ways of living and interacting with people. But there is one thing we all share – a sense of acceptance of our differences and the ability to keep everything behind us when it comes to learning things together and of course making money. In a way our small class is a microcosm of the economic and social revolution that is slowly yet steadily changing the face of our nation as a whole. The pursuit of profit is the pillar on which our society rests now.

The Indian economy has often been compared with an elephant. Slow and wise but lethargic at times . The same goes with Indian psyche. We as a community have always cherished the wisdom of our memory as a nation which sometimes forestalls the advent of path breaking ideas or research. We trust the conventional approach to business, governance and politics but we forget to remember that conventions are always subject to change in our argumentative nation. The new “chai piyo aur kaam karo “ campaign epitomizes what’s happening in the Indian society today. There has been a profound shift in the perception from your social status(caste) determining your economic well being in ancient India to your economic well being determining your social status in modern times.

It’s Gandhi jayanti today and bapu more than anything else was a symbol of self sufficient Indian villages and the eventual transition of the rural population to the middle class. These days it’s not unusual (in fact very common) to find people from backward areas of our nation working in the knowledge industry and joining the middle class which in the long run is the economic sword of a country and without which an unjust society is inevitable. So when bapu proceeded with his dandi march he actually laid a path before us , the path of self sufficiency and progress, the path of inclusiveness and perseverance, the path where bharat and India meet to cover the arduous miles together.

Beat the heat !!

woke up today and started wondering about the heat. It's just never ending.it's hot when i wake up it's hot when i go to sleep.last evening i was talking with some kids in my apartments and we kinda made a resolution that no matter how hot it gets we are gonna continue with the cricket because that's the only time of the day we feel active. I hibernate for the rest of the day . I feel that the sun has conspired with the clouds here in delhi. They are on a mission. a mission to kill !! Whenever some sort of weather extreme happens here i get a sad feeling. Not just for me not being able to amble around in the city meeting people but for those who do not get power for days in their homes and even worse, The one's that do not have homes. I think i fall in the lucky one percent of this country to be able to write this artilce on a computer and ya, with the air conditioner on.

The weather here just depresses me and makes me inactive. But i got a mail yesterday from someone asking me if i wanted to participate in the preparatory runs for the upcoming marathons in the country. Nothing could make me more happier i replied. Someone asked a marathon runner once.. Why do you do it? and the simple yet profound reply was "because i can". It makes you feel alive, It makes you face your limitations, It show's you how weak you are and yet how strong you can be! So here's the deal- there is a 10 km run in NOIDA being organized by runningandliving.com on 19th july.Anyone who is interested can mail me and i'll apply for you. Just don't think about the heat as a barrier because its in july and things will ease up by then. So gear up to hit the roads !!

Writing about Writing

here's what i penned down tonight...short and to the point!!

Sometimes i wish i could paint. Paint on the walls, paint on my hands, paint on the glass windows of my house. Even though i feel like painting i am terrible at it. I am terrible at anything that requires the artistic use of my hands so i write, and that too on a text editor. So that people don't see how terrible my hand writing is. I have felt helpless whenever i've had to write something on paper. But just to make this article more interesting for myself I am originally writing this on a piece of paper i found lying around on my desk and i just love the sound my pen is making when it hits the surface. And to make things even better the lights are out and i am using my sister's cell phone to see while i write this.

I wonder what is it that inspires me to write even when i have such a bad hand writing and what is it that inspires me to paint when i can't even draw a hut properly forget a human being. Something crosses my mind while i introspect about this. It's peace, and here's an explaination for it. While I am writing this people downstairs are shouting at the security guard, enquiring why the light's are out. We always have a choice. A choice to fill our time and space with chaos or peace and as i figured it out just now,I instinctively choose peace. It's deeply programmed in me.

Now that the power is back on I am going to write this on my text editor for others to see :)

My attempts at fiction

ok so this one is up for opinion.I started with some fiction today and here's the first para i wrote. So please pore in your opinions and suggestions on wether i should continue or not ;p

She was old, very old. Old enough to have seen life pass her by and not remember it. On a cold winter evening she sat looking at the vast stretches of uninhabited land surrounding her. She was a prisoner of space, a slave of solitude. Even though the world around her had moved on she refused to be led by time because she wanted to be where she had always been.those 5 kms of cold dry land were everything to her. The place where she was born , the place where she wanted to die. The winds rushed past her wrinkled face as if reminding her of their cold existance and negating the warmth which any human being would feel in her presence. I walked the steps of that old monastary and saw her sitting on the bare ground with her eyes fixed on the nearby mountain as if deciphering the existance of god in its existance...

The professional GOD

Was life designed by a mathematician or an artist i ask myself as i start writing this post.Is there a pattern to what we do, is destiny the truth or another lie in the vast sea of deception. was it a mathematician who sat one day with his pen and paper and developed a system we all love to call life by following the rulebook called humanity. Or was it an artist who painted his canvass with different colors letting all of us to try to figure out our own lives, try to find a pattern in those assortments of colors and shades ,but in vain.

The creator as we love to call him loved the way he constructed the mathematical idea called life but then somehow he did not really like the end result. if we scrutinize our own lives we'll know how he felt after his so called "magnificent creation".Imagine yourself dealing with a problem all by yourself.carefully step by step analyzing the problem in your mind and come up with the solution but when its all over and a certain gate of your mind has been opened you might feel fascinated with yourself or you might not! so from what i make of it yes god did enjoy creating the world on the whole but he was satisfied with only a part of it and was stoic towards other imperfections or perfections in his work. the only reason that can explain this is that there is no reason.he just happened to like something more than the other. This is how the mathematical god thought about things.doing everything step by step.creating everything proportionally and with equal enthusiasm but then disliking one part more than the other without offering any explainations..just as mathematics does sometimes...

Lets think about the artist who gathered all land and oceans together from the tip of his paint brush.lets talk about god as an artist.now this guy didn't know what he was doing but somehow he just loved whatever it was.he went on for days and nights thoroughly enjoying the experience which surpassed all divinity but made him ironically human because it was pleasure that he was seeking and then he finally created something he could not himself recognize.it was nothing but a sea of perceptions. there were faces one could see in that painting.it was a million different expressions entrapped in one little piece of art called life.there was no form to it nor any purpose although one thing that couldn't be ignored was that the more closely a person looked into it the more complicated and sad it was and when observed from a calm distance it looked beautiful and peaceful.

So do we represent expressions of the most complex mathematical equation ever derived or the colors of a painting which refuses to identify itself...

Reading Paul krugman these days, read Joseph stiglitz last weak and i am amazed at how the ubiquitous downturn has progressed starting from financial "creativity" and finding solace in a globalized world which is utterly mismanaged. To carve a new path ahead we have to look closely at the road we have left behind. Our new policy must be a confluence of keynisian economics because a booming economy won't always be booming and the ideas of adam smith because a receding economy won't always recede.strong public spending along with tax cuts is the need of the hour.the problem with INDIAN policy is that it has failed to rise to the occasion.the interim budget makes great political sense but it is bad economics. The argument posed by the UPA government is that the results of the fiscal stimulus given out in december will only be evident in 10-11 months but what about the results of the current liquidity desert in the country? when will they be evident? well they already are.it seems like the starting of an unemployement wave and remember india has a very weak social security net.So the longer we take to tackle this the more will be the "COST" of this downturn.

What are the americans doing on their part now.The new stimulus package designed by president obama raises many hopes but the sane economists opine that it won't be enough. It's the right way to deal with the crises but it falls appalingly short of what's really required.300 bn in tax cuts,500 bn in public spending .yes they need it.But what about the bank rescue plan?president obama is playing the politically correct card by not mentioning bank nationalization in the senate but again like the indian policy its bad economics.nationalization may not be the american way according to some but did selling the "american dream" by giving irresponsible loans fit in the conventional american lifestyle? nationalization and then eventual privatization of banks after the government gets rid of the toxic assets is the way forward.because sometimes socailism is the best ally of capitalism.

Now what has been the Indian government's plan.chintambaram's last budget provided a significant relief to the Indian farmers and increased public spending bythe government substantially while keeping the fiscal deficit at 2.5% but again we are on the same old track of ineffective and excessive spending by the government which is reflected by the depressing 6% deficit contributed by the central government and another 5% by the states.which makes it 11%.

What does this reflect.these numbers say that our rural areas(which account for the maximum spending by the government) have been a victim of mismanaged globalization of our country.before opening our economy we established all the laws required by the corporate sector on the road to liberalization but then we forgot what repurcussions will this have on the rural economy.hence any attempt by the goverment to bail out the rural areas falls straight on it's face doing nothing but increasing the deficits without any substantial reduction in rural poverty while simulatniously promoting the culture of "subsidization".It's true that deliberate efforts by the government are required to increase the rural demand and wealth in a country like ours but those efforts need to be in the right direction.India is typical case of a partially mismanaged globalized economy and before anything else we need to create a social security net for our rural population.directly subsidizing the farmers(a repurcussion of an open economy) which does nothing but harm the rural population eventually due to an increase in food prices(remember most people living in villages are not farmers perverse to popular thought) is really not the solution.the NREGA(national rural employment guarantee) scheme is a move in the right direction.

Both Americans and the Europeans need to embrace keynesian economics wholeheartedly while eventually moving back to privatization and the developing economies like India need to refrain from blindfolded public spending in rural areas and concentrate a little more on the industry while simultaneously strengthening the social security net which is a must in a capitalist system.I know this article was boring but then economics is because it matters.

After writing this piece i am gonna start packing.packing my clothes,my books and more importantly my memories and experiences in college.I came to college as a curious and gullible fool and i am going back the same.there is no difference between the me four years back and the me now.the only thing that separates me and my alter ego is that in college i have cleared some of the fog from the window of my mind.i am more open to new experiences.i am not as prejudiced as i used to be.and call it solipsism but i believe that friends, family, teachers, mentors and strangers are all a part of your consciousness.you exist because all of them exist.they exist because you exist.after college even my running shoes are a part of my consciousness.i carry them along whenever i go out of town.running is something i discovered in my college days and fell in love with it.those precious 2 hours in the day when all you think about is pain in your toes and sweat on your forehead with the sun shining over your head.2 hours of escape.2 hours of solace.2 hours of life in its most pristine form.and when you stop running all you can think about is air.all you concentrate on is breathing.and that my friends is the best form of meditation there is.something that lifts the fog off your mind. my running shoes.i wonder if sometimes they breathe too.because if they do.. good for them!!

now coming to the people you meet in college.now when you start meeting people in college you try to assimilate them.you try to ossify them in convention.you try to frame them in a stereotype.the talkative one,the stupid one,the smart one,a disingenuous one.you make true friends when you move out of these stereotypes.and again start viewing the world as if there is no convention.there is no right person.there are no good or bad people.its about some brain cells which start dancing and partying when you see someone you like.and whenever you meet them you feel happy.or you feel happy and you meet them.it goes both ways.happiness can be both a quotient and a remainder.its all there is.its the only secret behind a great friendship.what are the odds.it has to work both ways.when you feel happy and you meet a person you immediately like him.and then there are some people that make you happy.your true friends are the ones for whom this rule works both ways.happiness is both a quotient and a remainder when you meet them.

now coming to work.well i am a computer engineer now!! hurray!! but what exactly does this mean.i mean who is a computer engineer.someone who sits in front of the computer all day and tries to figure out what it is.and someone who thinks he can!! and the irony is he is supposed to know it by now.because he is a computer engineer!!! he is as ignorant as the rest of the world.he lives in his own realm of consciousness.that world where he is the smart guy.that world where people expect him to know stuff and he thinks he knows them.that world where he is considered as the sanest of the sane.someone riding on the back of the elephant called rationality.thats who i am.and this is the way i am escaping this fact.by writing it out on piece of paper.so that i know i am that fake sane guy.trying to escape his sanity by looking at it from the outside.

and then comes the best and the worst part of college.leaving.one day they come and tell you that its all over.you have become what you wanted to be.but now you want to be someone else.and then the entire landscape changes.you are set free in that sane rational world where all people care about is pieces of green and red paper.all of them including me have painted a picture on our consciousness.that of a person with lots of red and green paper.and we don't seem to be able to draw anything else on it.consciousness was the only drawing board we had and we have already drawn on it.and there isn't any time to search for the other drawing board.

with some luck i might find one for myself in the future.whatever it is it was great to be in college.and in COOL colloquialism "it rocked".

MANAGEMENT WITH A DIFFERENCE

With one month to go for the CAT every one is busy.Reading like they never have.their sudden love for literature astonishes me.solving maths problems is a hobby now and no day is complete without solving a sudoku. All this is good for the nation. In fact great. We need intellect! in large quantities. But time and again two questions have troubled me.and i would like to address them here.1)Who exactly is a manager?and what is his role with respect to his organization and the society in generel.2)What makes a great manager and who is the greatest manager of all time?

So who is a manager?

Someone who is good at Math.Someone with a great reading ability.Someone who is in charge of the projects of his organization.someone who has good communication skills?and off course someone who has a lot of money!! all this and more you would say makes a great manager. But i would have to disagree.Maths,English and logic are three very narrow minded views of the three big qualities a manager needs to have.He has to be a strategist,a psychologist and more importantly a compassionate person. And no test in the world can judge all of these qualities together.a cousin of mine once told me that the reason that he prefers his current boss more than his previous one is because his current boss has things other than just work on his mind.things like music, writing, cricket.so it is very important that the person who is in charge is just a normal person like the rest of his employees.someone who is passionate about his life.someone others can relate to.someone others want to learn from.and trust me no management institute teaches you that.

now who is the greatest manager of all time?

a lot of names crop up in my mind.but there is this one name that accentuates itself.MAHATMA GANDHI.why and how? i ask myself.and here's the reply.

Can you think of a more difficult organization to handle than a country like India? but then you would say all prime ministers do that.whats the difference? remember in 1940's India was in conundrum.and to gather the pieces of a country together and make something out of it is something commendable.so here we have this huge organization with its million's of employees(the people) most of them too hesitant to present their views. And here comes a man with a stick and a charkha and says we can do it.We can be independent. And the britishers laugh on his face.and what followed after that is history.Gandhi bocomes a national symbol.someone everyone can connect with.someone ordinary yet so extraordinary.someone who has his own ideologies and stands by them no matter what.Someone who's work is more than just work. The enthusiasm that Gandhi created in India about this new method of protest called 'SATYAGRAH' is exemplary. In US during the vietnam war people carried posters of GANDHI which said "we need him!!".His impact was global.someone who was a calm strategist, very understanding and compassionate like no one has ever been.I wonder.. could he clear the CAT?:)

Y.my idea of celebrating the 61st anniversary of freedom was to sit in my room and watch a movie on my laptop.while some socialites in my college conduct rallies on their bikes and cars.shouting slogans of independence "bharat mata ki jai" and i couldn't care less.maybe i have lost the spirit of nationalism that i once used to have(i used to be the loudest kid when they sang the national anthem every morning in school).so the question i ask myself is why this gradual change in my attitude towards the whole concept of "MY COUNTRY".why am i so ambivalent towards the celebrations that happen around me on such days of national importance? one reason could be me shedding my enthusiasm as i have come of age and adopt a more critical attitude towards everything...

BUT i think i am moving inline with the current stance of my country.the economist's have spoken, the banks have applied the brakes, the media is more critical then ever.the growth story that began with so much enthusiasm and confidence has suddenly been pushed out of the track by the inflation monster.so the IT companies are downsizing, the pharma sector is desperately searching for western partners and the oil is hard to get.to add more to our greviances terrorist networks are on the loose.you must have heard the above points a million times now but there is one common feature in the above set of problems that you might have missed which is "our country has come of age.it is thinking more now.and the next time we get our growth rate back on track we won't make the same mistakes twice(hopefully)".and talking about the mistakes we have made as a nation in the bull run that is past us are the same as a teenager makes when he sees the "world outside his world" and in a quest to have fun looses control of his life! but eventually he comes off age and handles the world better.the same is with our country. we saw the amazing opportunities of the 21st century that awaited us and we converted them into a huge financial success for the nation which was sadly only an illusion.the growth rate that we projected did nothing but add to the irony of our failure to address the basic civil needs of the rural population and the humiliating wealth inequality that we created in our country.

the 'IT' companies continued to be servile to the US economy and the pharmaceuticals after offering much promise never gave us anything to be proud of.which is because of our inability to do "useful research" even after we see so many of our kids becoming bookworms.which shows the fundamental inability of our education system to cope up with the global competition.
but this new economic slow down has forced us to think about the cardinal problems of our system and to face new challenges head on as we make this transition from an "emerging economy" to a "stable economy".

now that i think about it i am actually proud that i represent my nation even more because not only my expression but also my attitude has changed along with it.JAI nostalgic about our college at some point of time.and here i am enjoying my sabbatical and suddenly this instance comes to my mind.A month back i was attending a class and a friend of mine was sitting next to me.and in between the lecture he tells me that he wanted to live like a "HIPPY" for an year after college gets over! and i was confused.why would he say that? so i couldn't really tell him anything at that particular moment and forced my words to take a back seat.

So i analyzed a bit more on the fact that so many people want to get out of what they call "the prison of technology" commonly referred in hippy colloquialism as "IT ALL" and the "it" here refers to the so called world man has created.so why is half the world running away from the world they themselves have created?why is it that so many of us wait so desperately for a vacation?why? so that we can forget "IT" all??but what i want to really explore is that by getting away from"IT ALL" are we really making an escape or are we like a wall which has been repainted but remains as static as ever not making any advances whatsover in the way it has been since it was erected.have our minds failed to make any progress when it comes to escaping the reality that we have ourselves created??

isn't that one of the reasons why ganja is adulated these days?by going into "deliberate unconciousness " one pretends to escape the reality for some time! isn't this the reason why the "hippy culture" came along?when it comes to identifying escape most of us just don't know what to do and do what everyone else does..party!!! so we tend to dwell more and more into subjectivity to hide from this objective world around us.but what we fail to see is that existence is a matter of both objectivity and subjectivity coexisting.and to escape from it we have to touch upon an area of our mind which works just in between the instant when we see something and the instant when we analyze it.there.right there lies something which is the meeting point of both object and the subject.the unknown.

so how can this unknown which is the essence of everything help us to get that escape we are always looking for?if you look into it more closely it wont just help you it will turn the concept of an escape around its head and give it a completely different dimension.when you realize that there is something else happening between the two instances when you percieve an object and when you analyze it.the whole concept of the object being separate from the subject disappears .which kinda makes an escape impossible.now consider this situation.a naked man walking in a desert without any sense of direction.will you call this man absolutely detached from this world?would you say he has given up everything?my answer would be no! because at some corner of his brain no matter how austere the man is there is a need of finding water and he will always be figuring out where to find it which is nothing but rational, logical thinking which is nothing but objectivity because rational thought is the creator of all objects.hence there is no escape from this world there is no other way but to accept the object and the subject as one and be commited to whatever we do in our lives as it is a part of us.so the escape you are looking for is everywhere yet no where :)

do you ever feel that you are an idiot?? that you are the dumbest thing on this planet??that there are so many more intelligent beings than you out there??because if you do it just goes to show that you are introspective and that is a quality that can be only found in intelligent human beings.that is something that distinguishes us from animals.the power to think about ourselves.the power to dwell on our actions and learn something from them.is something that sets us apart.so its natural to be stupid and its in fact quite intelligent to know that you are not the smartest guy around and that you can be dumb.

so much for the "feeling good about stupidity part".now comes the question.why do we act stupid or dumb sometimes?and here's what i think about it.all of us have a subconscious level of thinking which we do not realize or never pay attention to.and every thing we ever do is interpreted as a decision inside our brain.so whenever we take a wrong decision we feel something wrong about the whole thing instantly.and thats where our subconscious mind is at work.we instantly recognize that something is wrong.we can't explain it but we know it.and it takes some amount of information processing to know that we were right.and that eventually is termed as intelligence.BUT when that subconscious mind of ours makes a mistake we start thinking that nothing is wrong and we interpret the information around us in a way that matches what our intution has to say.and when other minds around you process your behavior they believe that you did something wrong and you are termed as "stupid!!"

so basically its not your fault if you are sometimes dumb or unintelligent its just a matter of wrong cognition at a perticular moment of time.
now here's something for the arrogant minds.for the supercillious souls.why is someone arrogant?here's what i think.one can be arrogant if he lacks that ability to introspect.which makes him so much less superior than other people which is the irony of it.One can be arrogant if in the past he has done something commendable.which according to me is still unacceptable because if you keep looking at previous milestones that you have accomplished and do not keep your eye ahead on the road you might just CRASH!! so thats again something unintelligent.

"intelligence according to me is a matter of self perception.you can be the smartest guy around when you are the dumbest and the dumbest guy around when you are the smartest"
hope you dummies enjoyed this one :)

the theory of confusion

how do people get ideas? walking on the streets...reading a newspaper...sitting under a tree...watching two people fight...some of the most amazing things ever discovered owe their presence to the most mundane of instances...the most beautiful theories refer to nothing but the quintessential..the pure...the things we see around us but never contemplate on...its amazing how the most brilliant minds look at the world as we all look at it but still make the simplest the purest things seem beautiful...the simple instance of you looking at another person means convergence of a fraction of the light in the universe on a speck(the other person) and you looking at him is the set of events that follow...so we can't perceive a thing if it wasn't for the presence of this force called light...and without our perception there is no speed...hence nothing can be faster than light...can the theory of relativity be put in more simpler terms than that!!

all those equations, all those theories are nothing but an attempt to understand the world...to simplify the dilemma that human life is...to find a purpose out of this amorphous life...to clear the haze that our own mind presents us with....so why are so many of us scared of all those ideas..all those philosophical tomes...trust me they are nothing more than ideas to simplify everything and reduce it to one simple theory...that's what physicists all over the world have been trying to do..to put everything under one umbrella...the search to simplify the universe and bring it inline with one single idea....
<img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" question is what if these scientists find that theory..what if they do explain the purpose of the human race...suddenly all of us know why we are here.. suddenly all of us know what to do next...the next day we wake up we know whats coming next...won't that take away the essence of life...we as human beings live on hopes and aspirations...we love uncertainty...it drives us ahead..gives us a high..won't that create more confusion in our minds than anything else?so a theory to simplify the universe will do nothing but create more confusion...thoughts to ponder....
hi everyone...here's another post..read and enjoy

what is religion??
for me its a thought...all of us have a tendency to know who we really are,to know why are we here in this place called the 'world',and off course who made all of us so similar yet so different..and it is this circumspection that gives birth to the theory called "god"..the theory of the absolute...and as far as a scientists mind is concerned "the big bang"..a million different faces,a million different thoughts all of them thinking about one ubiquitous question "who are we?" ...and all those thoughts have a different point to make,a different theory to present,a different picture of the world they want to display...and thus comes the concept of religion....

but you might argue with me on the fact that if there are a million different thoughts about human genesis why only a few religions??to answer this argument i will have to move out from the theory of genesis which has no record whatsoever in the human history to the theory of evolution and the congregation of people to form societies and communities which went on to become nations which is recorded to quite a good extent for us to know the practices of our ancestors....now each community had certain similar practices and thoughts but i am not ruling out the fact that all those who made these communities still had a completely different view of the world..and it is those few facts that they had in common which came to be known as "religion"..and that i believe is solely because of the human tendency to avoid conflicts...and it is still the same old religions that are accepted even today despite the fact that all of us view the world from different eyes..they are a part of our culture now..a part of our tradition...to such an extent that even "atheism" is a religion now..

so religion is our perception of life which is completely different from the conventional wisdom that our ancestors have passed on to us...and i think the conventional form of religion is important too because it gives each of us a cultural identity and we should cherish that but we must always be careful not to cross that subtle line between traditional importance and chauvinism...the concept of religion came up when the world was in need for a consensus when groups of men and women were looking for something common in each other but now it has transformed to the exact opposite..we look at religion if we want to differentiate ourselves from another person ...and thats where i feel that there is a need to give religion a whole new different meaning altogether now...thinking differently is what makes the human race truly fascinating but discrimination on the basis of thought is something that makes it disappointing(can't think of a more profound word...)
the gift of conversation

hi every one i am back with another post...hope you enjoy this one...

the beauty of the human mind does not lie in solving puzzles or mathematical problems barely understandable to fellow beings but in the way it relates those problems to the real word and simplifies it to make it understandable to a larger community....in simple terms intelligence without the ability to interact with people is hollow....normally when it comes to abstract intelligence most of us visualize indefatigable scientists working in their labs in some corner of the world where no one can disturb them....but that really is not my idea of an acute mind....yes some researchers may be introverts but at some point of time they have to go out and talk about what they have achieved...they need to "sell" their idea....

there is nothing more interesting than an intelligent conversation.....its like food for our mind...its something most of us seek but normally with a compatible mind...but the real skill of a person lies in how he interacts with not only with someone with similar interests but how he adjusts his thinking to the level of another person how he puts himself in that other persons shoes while talking to him....for me a one sided argument is a waste of time....an argument if used wisely can increment your knowledge and understanding of the issues around you...but some complacent people use an argument as a means to show their superiority which bears little fruit and often leads to hostility....the real skill lies in converting a delicate issue into a thought provoking one...

you really need to keep your cup half empty....because if its not it might just overflow...we always need keep our mind open to opinions, ideas presented by anyone anytime....if you think you are the center of the world think again the circle might just lie somewhere else :).....a leader never superimposes his ideas on the people around him but tries to understand the problem at hand pretending he is someone else....the key idea is to see where the other person is coming from...if he has an opinion you don't agree with don't debunk it respect it..and think about it..it might just open your mind to new possibilities....

so according to me yes we need creative thinking....yes we need abstract intelligence...but no we can't survive without talking and sharing ideas....so if you don't agree with me i am always game for a conversation :)
<img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4481507272748582355-1088189672780020883?l=sanchitgupta87.blogspot.com' alt='' very philosophical mood as i write this post early morning...its something i realized yesterday on my usual jog to end point(a very scenic place in Manipal) and the end point track looks something like the above figure...
and this is how i relate it to life-
1.the starting point of the track is not my starting point...i start running much before that..that gives me a sufficient warm up and when i start running on the track i focus all my attention to my final goal the end.....
analogy to life-we all attend schools and professional courses before we begin the real race...so these courses count as a warm up for me...its not important to excel in a warm up as it is so in the real race but a warm up gives you a sound foundation to be able to run...it equips you to face the fatigue while running....and when you finally start running...when you cross that starting point all you crave for is success...climbing the ladder...

2.then comes the second part...just after crossing that starting point....your destination is clear..you are motivated to reach that other end of the road...you run and run putting your maximum effort..the end point road is not smooth...sometime you have to make way for runners who are faster than you and sometimes for vehicles...and off course there are the speed breakers to obstruct your path and slow you down...
this is how i relate the second stage with life-
soon after you graduate you are a self reliable individual who has his/her own aims (small or high but each one of us has certain aims right?and even if you din't or you don't wat the heck read on !!:)) now this individual is motivated to carve out a life for himself...to do something that give's him that feeling of self worth so he is naturally determined to move ahead...and off course there are people who are faster or much better than him in whatever it is he does but he does'nt get tired when he looks at them...it only makes him more committed to reach that target he has set out for himself...and there are always people who disparage whatever he achieves or whenever he puts an extra effort but that doesn't bother him either..instead he has a point to prove now...thats how i compare critics to speed breakers they are there to stop you but you step on them and push against them to give yourself that extra force....

as you see in the figure to your left if you apply an extra force at the topmost point of the speed breaker it pushes you forward(remember the 3rd law!!) so similarly if you put in an extra effort towards silencing your critics you'll not only silence them but will move ahead with a higher acceleration..and with an increased confidence...

now comes the 3rd part of the run....after you have traveled a decent amount of distance you are a bit tired but still you want to go on again hoping for some relief..and then you see that downward slope...it relieves you...you just break free and start running fast...and you love it..you enjoy it...
analogy with life-after a certain point in your career when you are used to what you do you get that big raise...that big promotion..that big investment opportunity..which relieves you financially...makes you thank everyone...makes you realize that you can be the best..

now comes the final part of your run...you see a straight road ahead and then a very steep upward slope....and it scares you..tests your mental toughness..can you still do it?..but determined you move on...you keep running until you reach that slant ..that gate to your final destination...you feel like giving up but still you keep going because you have already covered so much...maybe a little more....then you feel the pain...you go up slowly...your running speed decreases drastically...you reach the limit of your will power...your legs want to quit...your lungs are tired...but the beauty of it is you love that pain once you get used to it...it gives you a feeling that you are fit and steady so the pain is worth it....
you can easily relate this to life...once you leach the last few years of your career you feel like quitting...but still you go on because you have already achieved so much...maybe a little more will be an additional reward for your achievements...so you keep going on...but you have much more responsibility now....sometimes you cant take it....sometimes you want to quit...but still it is worth the pain,..because you love what you do now..and you are used to taking charge now...

and then with a final sprint at the end it all ends...and you feel great for having completed the run...and then you relax and look back at the amazing distance you have covered...and you sit there watching others coming behind you...
same for life...when you retire you reflect on the things you achieved in your life..the people you met..the things you learned...and you look at the person you are now....and tell him well done brother!!

well and thats it..i hope i did a good job :)
do you think you are unique???

chaos...chaos is the word....when i see the world growing around me.....engineers..managers..scientists..artists...industries..competition...money..power...the world in which we live has always been the same...people still have the same so called 'drives' in their lives..in their work people search for uniqueness...but isn't the concept of being unique, being different not unique after all!! din't we as kids always get the same old advice...do something different..something unique...something that gets you noticed...and we did!! the result..appreciation by peers..by parents...i can't count how many times i have heard people say "each individual has something new to offer to this world"....by saying this we are actually giving excuses for our finite minds!! for instance take me...i always make excuses to myself...no i can't paint...no i can't do calligraphy...no i can't be a pilot....but the real question is did i really try?? and to be frank i never really tried to paint or improve my handwriting and i have always assumed that i am a bad driver....and thanks to this post i am realizing so many things i have been lately neglecting....so its very important for us to keep exploring ourself...very important for us to keep our mind excited everyday...very important to explore its untouched areas...because you never no when you get tired of your work and suddenly find that you are in the middle of nowhere...because you dont have any other explored section in your mind except for your work.....so specialization according to me is not a way of life diversity is....specialization can give you immense material benefits....immense work satisfaction...but really a man on his death bed does not look at the one specific thing he did great in his life but life as a whole...
success or whatever you call it.....

Its been a while since i wrote my last post..10 days to be precise!! so hi everyone!!
yesterday night i was sitting with my friends having a conversation when suddenly one of my friends had this thought on his mind...he said "sancho don't you think we have underachieved"
and then i asked him "underachieved with respect to what??" then he answered "academics!!"
he said "we could have been in Harvard,Stanford but here we are in Manipal"...then i asked him"are you not happy with what you have??" he said "i am not sad but i am not happy either..."
i dint know what to say to him because deep down i knew he was right...but then i thought is there any starting point for success that i failed to see....haven't i started the race already?? but there is no starting point...the simple fact that my friend was thinking about what he did not have in life indicated that he was on the right track...its a fact..."whenever we think more about our dreams than our previous achievements we are moving forward...heading towards success..." so many of us wake up everyday and think about what we can achieve in the next 24 hrs...this simply shows that we are on the right track...maybe we don't have what we want the most..maybe we have underachieved...some of us need more money..some of us need more time...some of us need a sense of achievement...and then some of us just want things to be how they are...and most of us work hard towards what we want the most...yes most of us procrastinate but if we think about the future..if we have a purpose we are on the right track...and by no means i call that under achievement...
my whole post can be summed up by this simple statement"if you can see that loser in yourself and can confront him face to face you are heading for victory"
my cup of tea!!

hi guys :) ....its raining outside...the weather is amazing...and i just cant stop myself from writing something....so here i am ....sipping my coffee..and listening to bob dylan....cant think about "terrorists" in this weather...religion doesnt cross my mind at this moment..nor does the economy...one thing that does provoke my thought is coffee!! well most of us are addicts to these beans...addicts to this hot potion which seems to do magic with our thought with our energy and makes us do the most important thing required to attain a goal...well yes it helps us to start!!....in fact some of us are so addicted to coffee that if we are to list some of the indregients for success we will list coffee as the first one!! :) ...tea and coffee have been an integral part of our culture right after the british promoted them in the country....in fact the britishers used to distribute ciggarettes and tea in hill stations first of all and then they started doing the same throught India....its true that they wanted to spread the addiction to our ancestors but some might argue that they actually gave us a gift maybe not ciggarettes but surely tea....tea is infact a source of livlihood for so many people in India and Sri lanka that a lot of the underdeveloped part of our country especially the eastern parts gain from it...sri lankas economy depends on tea exports....and i bet a lot of software engineers in our country are addicted to tea and coffee..which surely helps the Indian economy!!..and its a fact that most people wont pass exams if there was no coffee...maybe its a mindset of students these days that they cant study without coffee or tea but the point is they do try to study after having it!!....most people might argue with me that tea is bad for health and i agree with them..it is...but still its a part of my life :) and i cant imagine starting an important day in my life without my cup of tea or coffee...
wake up everyone...

hi everyone....today i am gonna write about a really important issue in our economy...
I have been reading this book "The World Is Flat" by Thomas Friedman(editor,New York times)...
and in that one book i have learnt more things about my country and the tremendous impact we have on the global economy...its to such a large extent now that if India and China stop exporting their services to the USA it will result in chaos and crash of the US stock market.....the world depends on us more than ever before....the youth of our nation are a new force in the world...that software engineer in Bangalore...that civil servant in Bihar....that young industrialist in Calcutta....that actor in Mumbai...and that young student in Delhi who works in a call center to get some quick money...all of these people represent the new Indian generation who is a lot more smarter than their American counterparts....a lot more ambitious than them....and last but not least a lot more hungry for success than the US...."SUCCESS COMES WHEN YOU NEED IT MORE THAN AIR "....and i think thats how we crave for it these days which is a great indication of our resolve to change ourselves as a nation...to move forward in this all new competitive world and give all the other nations a run for their money....but........
if we are so ambitious,so determined,so hungry for success...wat's stopping us?
the fact is that 70 % of India still lives in slums...imagine the resources we are wasting there....there might be another bill gates...another Steve jobs...another Ambani somewhere in those slums because the mind knows no boundaries....but these people still don't have the basic infrastructure which is needed for a living...the highly currupt nature of our government is not allowing that part of India to come forward and give its contribution....there was this very astonishing instance Friedman has described in his book about a software firm in Bangalore....the firm has two offices in Bangalore separated by 3 km's and there is a slum in Bangalore between these two offices so if you want to call from one office to another you have to call new jersey first and the call is forwarded from new jersey to the other office because there is just no direct phone line connection between the two offices because of the slum in between....and this really shocks me...the divide between the underdeveloped India and the developed India...a lot of us say that i wanna be the next Bill Gates but bill gates is so much more than money and software...the philanthropist work he has carried out for the world is phenomenal and he will be more known for that..now how many of us actually give money in charity or seriously feel like doing something for that small village near your house....to be candid even i don't....and if you do there my friend is a budding Bill Gates.....
Leaving home

hi everyone....so here's my first post of the day...
to leave or not to leave is the question here....thats right i am talking about going abroad after we complete our education..."the brain drain" as they call it is something that bothers me...everyday i look around and see so many smart people who are a lot better than me in doing things...better in maths..better in programming...better with people(ya thats a skill too!)...now my question is if the Indian brains are respected globally for their technical and mathematical genius...where's that developed self sufficient nation we have been looking for??why does every innovation and every invention that changes the world come from US??where's that iphone??where is that ipod touch??where are those google maps which are supposed to be in our phones?? the point is our education institutes produce people who are good at science great at maths but who really don't go out and think about what their education can give them...all of them including me think of big money early on in our lives and the best way to do it is "get out of here!!"....even i may do the same if my career calls for it...infact i had planned to leave once my engineering was over but everything changed when i talked to this french guy who was sitting next to me on a flight from Delhi to Goa....the first thing he told me was...."people are friendly here brother"....then he told me that he used to work in the US airport before....then i asked him this one critical question... "why do the people in united states treat people from India as inferior?" and he replied "because they never go back to their own country"...and i replied "yeah they don't" and that changed my decision...sometimes going abroad is a popularity issue...an issue of pride....when will we people stop being artificial??(i cant get the correct word for this...wait a minute...wannabe's???)....i see people who have lived in india forever and still have accents...its something that actually shows how much some of us crave to go to the states...India is one nation where development and poverty are at their peaks...the question is who will win the race first...and the answer lies with us.....
ANGER MANAGEMENT

ok so this one is for everyone who thinks anger and frustration is a part of their lives...

how many times hav you had the urge to tell someone to "SHUT UP!" but you could not...and how many times have you felt the urge to tell someone "I hate u...get out of my life!!"...but you really cant...can you....so this eventually results into depression...your sole cant take it anymore...you are sick of it..its all around..its chaos....and here's the solution for all of this....
do something to release it...something you like...and that doesn't mean watch a movie!!...NO!!!....do something!!...go run.and keep running for miles and miles..until you leave that person or that situation behind..go play..and every time you score you score over that annoying human being in your life...go punch that big red bag in the gym thinking that its someone you really hate....and if you are a nerd...go make a program which gives you a sense of elation...a sense of being different from everyone....the point is...do something that makes you forget about everyone in the world except for that one annying person.......go ahead and try it...and tell me if i am wrong...and i still wont agree with you....
FAITH

Ok everyone..so here goes my first post...
today morning i was going through the editorials in one of the news sites...and i found one about "radio jockeys" and i started reading it out of curiosity....bt it was a lot more meaningful than i thought it was...in brief it talked about hindus endorsing muslim faith and the muslims doing the same(its not that evident from the title is it)...a car driver turns off the music whenever the car passes by the durgah....and the owner of the car( a female) really does not understand the need to do so...and is surprised too because he never used to do the same before...but she considers his faith and does not say anything...one day when the driver passes by the durgah and does not turn off the music she says "bhaiya FM band kar lo"....thus she learns to endorse muslim faith and the driver not failing to do the same turns off the music when he sees a temple..and the female says"bhaiya iski koi zarurat nahi hai"...
60 years have passed and we are finally learning to understand each other...
not only understanding each other but also praising each other for the efforts we have put up for the country...making India the centre of the revolution called "globalisation" because in no other place in the world so many people so many languages so many religions coexist and this fascinates the rest of the world...thus making the west click with the east...the developed to click with the developing....
<img width='1'
